Meet the Artist

Kathryn, a self-taught artist, was born in the farming community of Ashton, Idaho—widely known as the "seed potato capital of the world." Nestled amid the breathtaking landscapes of the Teton Mountain Range, her childhood was shaped by million-dollar views and scenic drives leading to Jackson Hole, Yellowstone National Park, and Grand Targhee Ski Resort, each within an hour’s journey from her family's farmhouse. Surrounded by world-class beauty, she developed an early affinity for the grandeur that would later define her artistic style.

Her journey has taken her across Utah, Arizona, Oregon, and Alaska, immersing her in the sublime landscapes and adventures that each place has to offer. The richness of these experiences is reflected in the vibrancy of her work, where sweeping vistas and dynamic colors evoke a deep connection to nature’s majesty. Now settled in Boise, Idaho, she finds inspiration in the foothills that frame her view from the kitchen window, sharing her home with her two amazing teens, a kitty cat and two tiny dogs, as life’s beauty continues to shape her artistic vision.
